General measurements for tops

Shoulder Width = Linear distance from shoulder to shoulder

Bust = straight distance below the base of both sleeves (bust is width x2)

Cuff Width = linear distance between ends of cuff

Arm Hole = Twice the straight line measurement from shoulder to armpit

Hem Width = Linear distance between both ends of the hem

Sleeve Length = Linear distance from shoulder to cuff

Sleeve Length (Raglan Sleeve Length) = Straight line distance from the back neck point to the cuff

Length = straight distance from the back neck point to the hem (not including the collar)

Measurements for a typical dress

Shoulder Width = Linear distance from shoulder to shoulder
